He really needs to let go about Bolton!
With West Ham occupying fifth place in the Premier League, it would not be a surprise if Sam Allardyce had greeted the accomplishment with a string of superlatives. Not so. Instead, the Hammers’ boss described his current squad as “the second best” he’s ever managed.
“The first one was the last three years at Bolton,” he said with a smile. “That was littered with outstanding world-class talent. Djorkaeff, Hierro, Okocha, Anelka, Campo.”

Best manager 😳😳😳😳 he is clueless,still plays one up front when he can and fell lucky with the quality of players we brought in in the summer of which one he did not want!

He didn't win anything at Bolton but that 5th spot West Ham now occupy was that Bolton squads finishing position a couple of times.
It's great he still feels we've got to get even better players into this squad we currently have and most would agree there's room for even more depth and strength. I'd be more pissed off if he said this squad is better than the Bolton one as it would mean it's complete in his eyes which it's not.

Who would have thought that when Sam took over at our place, that a little club like ours could one day nearly be as good as the mighty Bolton Wanderers.
